There are many choices when it comes to top sales careers for women in 2008. According to current year-to-date statistics at www.salescareersonline.com, women continue to grow their representation amongst job seekers in the sales and marketing employment markets throughout the United States and Canada.

Women increasingly see a career in sales as one of the best ways into top tier management, with two-thirds believing it gives them the same chance of progressing to a senior position as their male colleagues. As a result many women in Sales and Marketing roles report that they find their careers to be more fulfilling, flexible and financially lucrative than other industries.

Based on current statistics, over 51% of female job seekers at www.salescareersonline.com compared to 46% for the same period in 2007 have submitted their resumes for sales positions posted in the pharmaceutical sales, insurance sales, or dental sales industries. Other popular sales opportunities have been in the medical sales, advertising sales, and real estate sales industries.
