Inside Sales Representative
The primary responsibility is to telephone prospect into assigned territories to introduce Edusoft to new accounts and generate qualified sales leads through a combination of outbound calling and follow-up on inbound leads. Each Inside Sales Representative will work with regional Account Executives to identify target districts, understand the specific issues in each market, and qualify potential customers by matching their needs with Edusoft's solutions.
Inside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:
* Contact education administrators through outbound calling and follow-up on inbound inquiries to generate qualified sales leads for outside sales representatives.
* Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and qualification goals as assigned by sales management.
* Track lead activity with Salesforce.com CRM.
* Answer inbound prospect calls to maximize customer and prospect contact.
* Identify local funding and buying patterns to optimize prospect opportunity
* Work closely with outside sales partners to maximize lead follow up
* Effectively and efficiently communicate sales leads to appropriate sales teams through email, Web, and phone.
* Deliver compelling and persuasive online presentations and demonstrations of the Edusoft products to qualified prospects
Inside Sales Representatives who meet management expectations may be candidates for other career opportunities internally.
Inside Sales Representative Minimum Qualifications:
* 1-3 years as a successful telesales or customer support representative
* Proven track record of achieving sales goals and quotas
* Excellent telephone communication skills are essential
* Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to qualify and close a lead through strong persuasive interpersonal communication skills
* Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other contact management databases a plus
