K&S Wiring Systems, Inc, subsidiary of the Sumitomo Group, is a leading supplier of automotive wiring harnesses.

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer based at our Dearborn, MI location.

The primary responsibilities will include:
Processing customer requests for quotes with logical consideration of our Company profit and negotiating price with customer; managing customer requests and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner; generating forecast information and providing to appropriate divisions; introducing new products and managing cost down activities; producing monthly sales reports; attending customer meetings; serving as customer contact for Purchasing and Engineering groups; routinely making customer visits to enhance customer relations.

Ideal candidate must have 4 yr. business/marketing degree and/or min. 3 years sales experience in regional account management. Cost control/program management skills required. Must possess excellent problem solving, written and oral communication, negotiation and customer relation skills. Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to travel as needed.
