RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Account Manager responsibilities include:
Selling a full line of digital network equipment and software products to new or existing Océ customers within assigned public sector market
Prospecting/cold calling in new markets to attract new business while maintaining and expanding services to existing clients
Translating feature functionality of hardware and software into customer value-added benefits
Meeting required sales activities including demonstrations and proposals
Managing complex sales cycles utilizing a consultative solution selling approach
Developing proposals outlining unique customer business applications, pricing and implementation plans
Utilizing internal resources, including product specialists and technical support, to effectively present Océ solutions to customers
Updating and maintaining customer and prospect database utilizing sales force automation software
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5+ years experience selling business-to-business digital imaging equipment or related capital equipment or software products
Strong understanding of digital products
Microsoft Office proficiency
Superior consultative solution selling skills
Proven success identifying target markets and potential customers
Effective presentation skills
Uses time effectively and efficiently and sets priorities
Territory management experience
Knowledge of Xerox, Canon, Ricoh or Danka digital products or other document imaging equipment a plus Candidates must be able to successfully pass a drug-screening, DMV and background check.
