Southwestern Pavers is interviewing qualified candidates in the Las Vegas marketplace to sell our products (pavers, pool coping and garden/retaining walls) and installation services. Our ideal candidates are those that have strong closing and relationship building skills as well as construction, landscape, and/or developer experience. More importantly, you must be very organized, strong at follow-up and able to manage your time and territory with minimal supervision. Because a portion of your business will be you assigned Home Depot store(s), you must be skilled at closing the sale on the first visit.
Besides managing your assigned Home Depot store(s), you will be actively prospecting and developing new commercial construction accounts by calling on custom homebuilders, production homebuilders, developers, pool companies, and landscape architects to build relationships and obtain vendor approvals for bid submittals. You will also be actively involved in building new business through promotions, trade shows and in-store lead generation.
You must build strong working relationships with your assigned store management and staff, update marketing materials on a regular basis, and provide in-store product training. This is a high-energy position that requires your commitment to run 2 to 3 leads (appointments) per day, providing design consultation to interested customers. On-site meetings include field measuring, product selection and financing options. Your strength in closing the sale on the first visit, combined with Home Depot’s brand recognition and finance options, offers you unlimited earning potential. This is not the average 40-hour per week job. By balancing your Home Depot business and the development of new commercial business, you will find it exciting and challenging to do whatever it takes to be successful.
Southwestern Pavers is a fast growing company with commitments to expand in other markets. Our extensive training program is designed to help you close sales within the first 2 weeks of making calls. This position also offers great management opportunities if you are willing to travel and/or relocate. We offer a salary plus commission/bonus compensation package. Reviews will be conducted 30 days and 60 days after completion of our training program.
