Long Description:
MGS Machine Corporation, (www.mgsmachine.com), located in Maple Grove, Minnesota is a manufacturer of packaging and product handling machinery for pharmaceutical, food and consumer products markets. We seek a hands-on, experienced OEM Sales Manager to cultivate and create business selling all MGS product lines to OEM accounts.
Our OEM Sales Manager:
- Create sales opportunities from existing accounts and build a NAFTA OEM
focused sales plan for all MGS products: Product Handling and Cartoning / Case Packaging groups.
-Identify and market products to new accounts
-Learn the technical aspects of the machinery and utilize in application
based selling and communicating product capabilities to OEM accounts
-Create and deliver quotations
-Contribute to our marketing plans by participating in the development of sales tools and procedures aimed at market growth.
Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree
-Minimum of 5+ years experience selling capital goods directly to OEM's and/or end users
-Prior experience with technically complex machinery or capital equipment
-Working understanding of technical components such transfer devices, mechanical drives, electronic motion control systems, sensors and inspection devices coupled with the ability to read drawings and schematics
-Strong direct selling and closing sales experience
-Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
-Ability and willingness to travel 15-25% per year
