Summary: Develop and execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify their needs and sell appropriate merchandise to meet those needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
· Manage and increase revenue and profitability in assigned accounts.
· Call customers and develop relationships with customers and prospective customers, establish buying cycles, analyze present and future customer needs.
· Responsible for sales and profit margin goal attainment set by sales management team.
· Establishes buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts
· Secures and places orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
· Coordinate efforts between lines of business to meet customer’s needs.
· Maintain active involvement with customers to ensure satisfaction and monitor competitive activities within the territory.
· Epitomize a customer-centric mentality… always delivering customer service that meets and often exceeds the customer’s expectations.
Qualifications/requirements:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
· Strong analysis and judgement skills
· Sales expertise…demonstrated ability to successfully grow territory
· Strong verbal, written and analytical skills
· Displays organizational savvy and outstanding interpersonal skills
· Thinks strategically, analyzes data, and establishes sound business plans
· Acts with integrity, leads courageously, and influences others
· Proven ability to contribute in a team environment
Education/Training/Experience:
· BS Degree in a business related field preferred but not required
· 1 year of Sales / Account Management experience preferred
