JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for generating revenue by calling on prospects and clients, selling group health insurance policies including medical, dental, and other employee benefit policies. Seek out new clients by networking, following leads, and cold calling. Develop marketing strategies to compete with other benefit brokers / companies. Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including necessary medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms. Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance. Call on clients to deliver and explain policies, to analyze insurance programs, and suggest additions or changes to policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
3 years proven insurance sales experience. This position requires the Life and Health License from the Texas Department of Insurance.
