Director of World Wide Sales, we need the best of the best.
Our client is an international leader in optical components and solutions for machine vision, inspection, optical metrology, research, and imaging applications.
They want to accelerate their growth and become the partner of choice for key clients in the semiconductor, education, biotechnology, life science, forensics and high-tech industries
As Director of World Wide Sales you will be empowered to:
1. Establish a growth strategy for obtaining double digit growth, year over year.
2. Drive and grow an international sales process consisting of direct sales, dealers and OEM’s.
3. Improve the business mix from component based, to advanced systems, to improve customer value and profitability.
4. Develop and execute a launch program for a next generation product.
5. Develop a high performing sales team by hiring, training and managing for top sales performance.
6. Educate and mentor the sales team in transitioning to a solution sales model.
7. Develop a sales forecasting model to improve just-in-time inventory practices.
8. As part of the leadership team, you will communicate and coordinate with leaders in all departments to ensure corporate goals are achieved.
Reward
You will earn a +$100,000 income with unlimited upside rewards for achievement.
In addition you will receive an auto allowance, 401k (matching), healthcare, life insurance, long- term disability, tuition reimbursement etc.

Criteria for Response (you must meet all of the following criteria)
1. Demonstrated 5+ year’s progressive (year over year growth) sales management experience within the optics, contract manufacturing or similar industries.
2. Living in or willing to relocate to Rochester New York
3. Experience optimizing direct, OEM, channel, and e-commerce sales models.
4. BS in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
5. World-wide sales management experience.
