Long Description:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for providing field leadership for approximately 8-12 stores and driving high volume sales and bottom line profits. The District Sales Manager ensures store management has the necessary direction and development to support and provide the SEE service proposition and achieve store sales expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Identify, network, recruit, train and retain high quality management and sales professionals to support store requirements and future growth.
*Educate and develop store teams to drive performance through the creation of individual development plans.
*Coach, motivate and inspire store teams to achieve all business objectives.
*Ensure understanding and implementation of all policies and procedures in a thorough manner by all members of store management.
*Lead and drive store teams to achieve company’s operational excellence standards.
QUALIFICATIONS-SKILLS
*Ability to analyze business results and trends and establish effective solutions that drive sales and profit in all stores.
*Ability to identify individual development needs and develop training plans to achieve success.
*Ability to anticipate future talent needs and develop necessary resources to meet these needs.
*Strong communication skills-ability to influence and communicate on many different levels.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in very fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS-EXPERIENCE
*Minimum of 3 years experience in multi-store management and/or high volume specialty retail store management experience.
*Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent retail management experience.
*Willingness and ability to travel.
*Excellent communication and analytical skills.
*Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights and weekends.
*Possess leadership skills in training, coaching, motivating and selling.
*Proven ability to drive sales and profit in multi-store retail environment
