THE JOB


Regional Account Manager for Decorative Pigments based in the Midwest.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who can build a territory by selling our Decorative Pigment Products to the world’s most valuable brands. The position will focus on prospecting and developing new accounts in designated target markets and/or targeted customers. This position will require extensive knowledge of decorative pigments, inks and coatings and their application to consumer electronics, packaging, sports equipment and apparel.

The individual will be required to expand business to new accounts, and to provide timely and accurate feedback to management on account status, developing market trends, competitive information, and client problems/needs. Work closely with internal Product Line Managers to target new market segments & product development.

We are looking for an individual who is able to build and maintain a substantial pipeline of opportunities that will result in the achievement of assigned revenue goals and personal financial success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:



1. A minimum 5-7 years of B to B direct sales experience. Not looking for distribution sales background.

2. Experience in selling decorative pigments, coatings, inks or plastics concentrate preferred.

3. Experience selling solutions.

4. Experience building, managing and maintaining a large pipeline of opportunities

5. A proven history of year-on-year sales growth and new account development.

6. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

7. Have excellent presentation skills.

8. Proven ability to forecast territory performance & operate within a budget.
