We have an opportunity for an experienced leader as the Selling - Director of Sales and Marketing within The Devonshire of Hoffman Estates, an established provider of independent and assisted living services, located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Job Title: Selling - Sales & Marketing Director

Salary: $55,000 - Depends on Experience+ bonus eligible - commensurate with experience and prior salary history
Location: Devonshire of Hoffman Estates - 1515 Barrington Road, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169
The selected individual will be responsible for fulfilling leasing goals and creating and maintaining a positive image of the property with residents, the community and other staff personnel; This position will be responsible for supervision of the sales associates at the property; reporting to the Executive Director of the property.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
· Work closely with Executive Director and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing.
· Ensure that the sales department meet all expectations for occupancy.
· Maintain a working knowledge of sales software programs.
· Develop and execute marketing plan.
· Develop meaningful relationships in the local community.
· Work closely with property staff on all issues.
· Monitor progress of individual and departmental goals.
· In consultation with the Executive Director, hire, train, discipline and terminate departmental associates in accordance with BSL Human Services policies.
· Communicate incoming resident’s special needs or requirements to the Director of Resident Services.
· Maintain confidentiality of business policies & procedures, residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
· Maintain good, active relationships with all residents and their families.
· Maintain a workable knowledge of Brookdale’s computerized lead tracking system – SIMS.
· This position will have a monthly quota.
Qualified candidates will possess:
* Ability to professionally represent Brookdale Senior Living required.
* Minimum of two years sales management experience required.
* Related experience in the senior housing industry and/or a degree in Business, Marketing or related field required.
* Computer proficiency with sales lead tracking systems and MS Office required.
* Ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing required.
* Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills required.
* Ability to work some evenings and weekends required.
Local candidates preferred as local market knowledge is required.
