Short Description:
Salary for 4 months - Commission only after four months
Long Description:
Eighteen year old Central Florida based firm offering applicant background screening services
for employers and residential property managers. All selling is on a "business to business basis."
Candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Primary research to identify prospective "New Accounts."
* Develop sales presentation for products and services.
* Initiate telephone contact (cold call) with prospective "New Accounts" for products and services.
* Make qualified face to face sales calls.
* Meet or exceed assigned sales goals for "New Accounts."
* Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales calls, presentations and closed business.
Job Requirements:
* Proven track record of achievement.
* Ability to work in an office environment.
* High-energy level with multi-tasking abilities.
* Comfortable with receiving and following management direction.
* Proactive/Takes initiative.
* Proven ability to research and develop "New Account Business"
through telephone selling and face to face selling.
* Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills.
* Outstanding written and verbal skills.
* Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well and work with others.
* Comfortable with preparing and presenting business proposals.
* Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects that require a deadline be met.
* Good computer skills---proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook.
* Must be internet savvy and comfortable with using the web as a research tool.
* Demonstrate an eagerness to embrace and learn new information that is
important to our industry, our company and to an individual sales person.
* Willing to work 50 to 60 hours a week to develop a solid commission base.
* Meet monthly sales goals.
Required Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of business to business sales experience. Other high volume prospecting
business experience like insurance sales, stock brokerage sales, real estate sales, etc. will also qualify.
* Either a four year college degree or two year associates degree.
* Experience qualifying C-level, VP, and Director-level contacts within a company.
* Verifiable sales performance and productivity numbers.
