The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting in the strategic growth and development of both the Slendertone and ReVive brands through traditional retail expansion.
Long Description:
Bio-Medical Research (BMR) is a multi national consumer Medical Devices Company. The Company now has an immediate need for a motivated professional with a demonstrated record of professional achievement to assist in the further development of our US business.
Our business is currently expanding and we need to add to our core group of people as we introduce new products and increase our customer base. Products are currently distributed through retail channels, home shopping, and the internet.
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting in the strategic growth and development of both the Slendertone and ReVive brands through traditional retail expansion. He/She will be responsible for driving sales through merchandising and product distribution and the generation of new business within an expansive territory, in line with company targets. In addition, he/she will assist in sales analysis and trade marketing activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, is a self starter and will use their experience and judgment to accomplish goals. They will also have a detail-oriented, quality-focused approach with the ability to manage parallel activities
Responsibilities:
•Manage relationships to build and extend brand awareness within existing retail outlets, ensuring that sell through are increased through the implementation of set objectives.
•Conduct frequent sales analysis to speed reaction to new trends.
•Identify new business opportunities that fit with BMR’s sales strategy and work with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to open new accounts
•Build close relationships with all retail partners and ensure that the highest levels of service are provided.
•Develop in-depth knowledge of the Slendertone and ReVive product portfolios and work with trade marketing personnel to create appropriate customer specific support vehicles.
•Provide feedback on any marketplace issues to the relevant departments and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
•A qualification in Sales/Marketing is desirable
•3-7 years experience in consumer product sales preferably with experience in both large and small organizations
