Job Summary: A sales leader with a focus on promoting the brand, managing the growth of clients and business to meet sales goals through internal/external client service and building relationships using the tools provided. A Product Specialist also provides knowledge and expertise to clients and sales associates on the use of their product line by applying products and effectively communicating their benefits.

29 Cosmetics - Neiman Marcus Product Specialist - Full-Time Position

Ideal Candidate will be a Sales Professional who is:

- Experienced in Cosmetics and Skin Care
- Knowledgeable of current cosmetics trends and skin care
- Outgoing and Personable with excellent client service skills
- Clientele-Driven and has excellent Business Acumen
- Sets daily appointments with clients and assists clients in finding the right products for the client, and choosing make up or skin care products for any occasion. Assist clients with makeovers as well as consultations for special events and occasions.
- Becomes an "expert and an ambassador" of 29 Cosmetics to further educate clients, sales associates and other product specialists.
- Meets and exceeds daily and monthly sales goals.
- Knowledge of trends, product information, and general business. Also responsible for planning and executing special events and conducting store-wide education clinics and trainings.
- Performs daily organizational and housekeeping of entire counter and stock area, inventory management.
- Effectively communicates with department managers, 29 Cosmetics and/or counter manager on a regular basis.
- Accurately completes sales using POS system according to established procedures and use the company based clientele system to retain client information.

Job Duties:

Assist clients with an enthusiastic and professional manner; provides outstanding client service. The Product Specialist must also focus on establishing and maintaining client relationships and being team player.
The Product Specialist is responsible for make-up artistry and presenting the 29 Cosmetic Collection to clients to drive 29's sales results with a focus on client service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: achieving and executing daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans, partnering with selling specialists and other departments to promote 29 Cosmetics and to generate sales for 29 Cosmetics, planning and executing events, conducting store-wide educational clinics and trainings, setting daily appointments with clients, managing clientele effectively to achieve financial results, effectively communicate with the Department Manager and 29 Cosmetics, daily housekeeping and organization of the brand, inventory maintenance, and most importantly providing outstanding client service that exceeds all expectations of the Neiman Marcus and 29 Cosmetic clients.

Job Requirements:

Experience in management is preferred, sales experience is necessary. Possess strong selling skills, including skills applicable to the telephone, and must have the ability to develop a quick rapport with clients and associates. Must have experience in sales, cosmetics, skin care and/or fragrances. Previous cosmetic experience, preferably managing a skin care and/or cosmetic line.
Direct background and experience working as a make-up artist using high end cosmetics. Basic computer skills required. Motivated and results driven, dependable.

Education and Qualifications:

Cosmetology or Esthetician Certification desired
